Fellow Vintage lovers. Does this 6263 look okay to you?

Good day to all.

First I will start by saying thank you in advance for your help.
I have not posted a full photo of the watch as I really want to post an incoming soon hopefully.

The watch comes from a very reputable source that I don't doubt, given the price point of these watches I asked and gave him a heads up that I will be sharing it on the forum to double check anyway, as it never hurts to be too safe.

Just want to make sure the engravings and movement look okay so far.
I don't doubt the seller who will always stand by what he sells, but nevertheless I also feel more comfortable asking other expert's opinions.

I don't see any red flags, but I'd be interested to see photos of the case and full bezel. My 6263 is a 6.0 mil. serial, so fairly close to this one, and everything I see in the photos here looks pretty much identical, including the movement and engravings. I assume you've compared to other authentic examples if you have concerns.

Who is the seller?

Yeah just post a full photo to get eyes on the whole piece and you can say the seller's name. Excluding photos as "incoming" is not worth it and imo that shot should be on your wrist!

As swish stated about checking it against other authentic examples I suggest you checkout perezcope.com. He does a very detailed and thorough comparison of fake and real daytonas. From what I see your watch looks legit.
But for the price you are going to pay for that watch I also recommend you pay the $99.00 to subscribe to www.mazzariolstefanolibrary.com you can compare your watch to the many examples there. As best I can recall he has a pretty detailed blog article on the vintage Daytonas that you can compare the watch you are buying to.

All the best and make sure you send in those wrist shots!

Where's the OP? Or is this one of those hit-and-run posts?

Nothing questionable about the watch. Why does he need to reply further?

If Aaron or anybody else asks "Who is the seller?" I would also expect an answer, either the seller's name or that the OP doesn't want to disclose. Is that not something as simple as politeness?

People rarely disclose that. In this case the thread starter wants to buy the piece. Why advertise it if that is the case? That could cost him the watch he wants to buy. But sure; he could come back and say thanks.

If he bought the watch he could at least come back with some wrist shots, we could use some positive incoming news in vintageland.
He could also say thanks on tow counts, one that he bought the watch cause he felt more confident after some of the posts here or thanks he decided to pass on the watch thanks to some of the posts here.
