I am intrigued by RM tbh, not as a potential client, because they are way out of my league, but in terms of management and marketing - the guy is a genius.

I may be wrong, but I was impressed how aggressively he increased the prices in a period there was no real shortage.

Also he works very closely with AP, if I am not mistaken AP has a stake in his company. The thing that was for me real innovation was the fact that he made his watches really durable in a sports environment. Haute Haurelogerie in a tennis match, was unheard of. Then events, social media, it really boosted the brand. They were close to a billion in sales for 2019, which is a golden standard in the business, it took a significant effort by AP to reach 1 billion in 2018 or 2019, this number with all the history and innovation they have behind their back. And do not forget, this was a major goal for AP to become a billion CHF brand. RM did it way faster.

I am genuinely curious about RM, the crisis is hitting their typical client hard, but the guy is truly a genius, curious to see what he will do.

Maybe he will be like Ikepod, sell his brand off, and in a few years we'll have a great RM Kickstarter.
