Yup. Now if they could only make it a regular release and get rid of the whole “Pride of anything” idea. I would be in line.

I agree with you. Like the grey galvanized better on the 44 mm.

I'm on the list for allocation of the ceramic version. No word yet on confirmed allocation nor request for my deposit.

They're not slated for release until around November so I haven't started worrying quite yet...

At 300 pieces I am sure you will be fine. I was more stressed with the RG one as only 30 pieces!

Delivery towards the end of year as you say.

I think i'm with you on this - by a small margin I prefer the black face and red hands of the standard watch slightly but not by a huge amount.

I would be happy with either and have been thinking about getting an RG 44mm for a while now. I am drawn by the exclusivity of the Pride of Germany piece. On the assumption that I could get my hands on one (unlikely but lets be hopeful!) do you think it will be a collectible item?

I already have the current version of the Ceramic 44 (26405CE) which has blue accents.

Although I like the new PoG I still prefer the RG44, which is a classic. It might look better in real life but I think the grey dial of the PoG seems a bit dull. I'm biased, as I own one, but I think the original RG44 with silver subdials is nicer, as the dial is a bit brighter. I'd never part with mine, particularly now its on a red highighted GP strap, which really lifts it.

Will feel real good to have one of these very limited pieces, and it's a very nice looker too.

Good point on the red accents for the red GP, it's really a different/lesser watch for me on the rubber.

I agree. I prefer the standard watch as well. Not a huge amount in it though.

Personally I think the 'new' RG44 dial is just too dark, particularly if viewed in dull light.

I hope AP releases a rose gold ceramic bezel model in 42mm which would be a variation of the 42mm Ti released in January.
