This is what it is about for me. I love to see the excitement or enthusiasm of a fellow member when they get a new piece. I find it particularly nice when accompanied by a nice back story of how they have always dreamt about one and have saved for years etc. etc. You can really feel the joy and pride in their posts.

I also never tire of seeing the same watch over and over again as I am even guilty of checking my own watch a million times a day... over and over again

As an added bonus the pics usually give other information which I like to see such as how the watch looks on a certain size wrist and so on.

It's all good. The best part is you don't have to open the thread if it doesn't interest you.

"We"? I'm pretty sure your "community" is made up of one person, at least as far as it comes to TRF.

You mean like the stupid thread you started a while back if your T-shirt would scratch your watch?

Well I vote that we also move all the "is it safe", "your Rolex and blah", "this or that" and dozens of repetitive threads to their own sections. Ah heck, why even bother with a general discussion section??

Some t-shirts do scratch the pcl's, depending upon the construction.

I'd rather see an incoming thread than this thread, that's for sure. I think I'll leave this one go look for a good incoming right now, in fact....Keeps me up to date on what my friends here are doin'.

I like to be kept up to date with who's got what and when, personally and following the current trend. And also sharing the buzz and excitement of course.

I think is a bit unfair to jump up and down on Swaggy, he is entitled to an opinion in this world of free speech.

My opinion, for what it is worth, is that this forum is No1 for finding out answers to awkward questions and its friendliness does inspire one to become more interested in Rolex.

However everyone is entitled to an opinion and jumping on them just isn't on.

Regards

Mick

Seems to me that the issue here is "attention" all right but it's you that craves it. Why else would anyone create a thread like this?

Nobody forces you to open any thread here so how about ignoring incoming threads since they bother you so much. I don't think the forum is in danger of becoming obsolete or dull due to incoming threads. Perhaps you have missed the various "Is it safe" threads....Just saying.
