The 15300 (which the OP has pictured) does not utilize a JLC base caliber; the AP 3120 was developed in house by Audemars Piguet, after the house sold their stake in JLC. Perhaps you're thinking of the 36mm 14790...that one utilized a modified JLC 889 base.
