Help!

I just purchased my first Panerai and love it, but I find it uncomfortable. I got the 104 and it seems top heavy and with my job it is very uncomfortable as it rubs my wrist. Do you guys suggest trying other straps or trying to find something lighter, like a titanium model?

Love the 104

Do you wear a 44mm or larger watch now? If not I bet if you wear the 104 for a week straight you will hardly notice it after a while. And be glad you didn't get a 47mm 372!

I have worn it for a few weeks straight. It is a 44 but it is not that it is too big, the rubber strap doesn't fit great as it seems to be in between 2 holes. The way it is most comfortable it is a little loose and is rubbing wrong and is uncomfortable.

I HATE the rubber strap. Get a custom leather strap. Makes a WORLD of difference. My 47mm submersible is arguably more comfortable than my DJ41 on my tiny 6.0" wrist now with custom strap. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend YUSK straps. Please feel free to PM me with questions about custom straps (I'm still learning myself but I think I can help).

I realize I need to try a new strap, but I like the look and feel of the rubber for my job.

What is your job? Have you considered canvas?

Try a leather strap. I find rubber straps don’t support the case as well

I am a chiropractor. Would definitely try canvas. I love the one on the new Panerai but it is exclusive to that watch.

Sell 104. The automatics are top heavy and wobbly

Buy manual wind destro model. They wear flatter and destro has the crown on the left side so if you wear on left wrist, it’s out of the way.

I wear my Pam104 on factory rubber all the time in total comfort. The key to this watch is not using the butterfly clasp for me. Traditional buckles is the way to go. It’s one of my most comfortable watches. I must have 28+ straps all using conventional pin buckles.

Carbon fiber is a good look as well.
