Omega 2594.52 in for service

My Omega was no longer keeping time and it would randomly stop. I took it in to a local watch maker. He opened it today, took it apart and it basically had the oils dried up and a bit dirty.

Movement is a 3301.

I didn't know that the case and movement have matching serial #s.

No parts needs replacing except for the gaskets.

Watch makers have so much skill!

Got it serviced by a local watch maker that was highly recommended. It took him about a week to get it fixed up back to working. No worn parts, just dried oil and a bit dirty. He replaced the gaskets as well and water tested. I am picking it up tomorrow, can't wait!

Just to make you aware there are several mandatory updates for the 3301, and I can see from the photo that at least two of them have not been done. That would lead me to believe none of them have.

Follow the link and look at page 4 https://bit.ly/2I6AJTd

Thanks for pointing that out. On the next service, I'll ask my watchmaker to look into this, hopefully he can get the parts. Else, I will have to take it back to Omega.

On my prior service a few yrs ago, I took mine to the one in Toronto. They serviced my 2531.80. However, I noticed that after the service (perhaps a month) after, I noticed there was a spec of dust on the dial. I didn't bother going back to them as the drive and parking in downtown Toronto is brutal.

Hi Watchmaker, any idea of when this update came out? My 3301 Seamaster was serviced by Omega August 2018, darn thing won't hold a charge so to speak. Wore it all day yesterday and was dead this morning. Back to Omeag it goes.. Thanks Al

The 33xx omega calibre family has been updated multiple times since it launched.

If it was serviced by Omega directly you can be sure you have all the correct updates

Sorry to hear you’re still experiencing problems though. Sucks to have to use it, but I guess that’s what a warranty is for.

Dropped the 2594 off at my Omega dealer yesterday, off for service it goes. Had to look at other new Omegas and there weren't but a few in the case, Rolexes as well. Manager said they were all selling very well! :)
