Help Identifying movement in Vintage Waltham Swiss Wrist Watch
Good Morning,
I have in my modest collection a vintage Waltham Swiss Made wrist watch that likely dates to the 1950's or 1960's. Can any member please provide any information or suggest sources to understand the history of this model? I would like to know when it was made and who made the movement. The case is Swiss made in 18K signed by maker 121. It has a textured finish and is very beautiful. The movement is hand wound, 17 jewels with no markings other than Swiss Made and 17 Jewels. The attached photos describe everything better than I can. I believe that the case was made by Guillod Gunther SA. From what I can tell this firm has made cases for Breitling and Longines. I will very much appreciate any insight that members can provide. Thank you! Jim |
