Today I had the good fortune to meet Fr. John for lunch at a gourmet restaurant in Athens called Allen's. This is a new version of the old one which closed in 2003. A great burger joint.

Anyway, I had ask that he bring his new chocolate Speedy for me to have a look. I sure am sorry he brought it! It is simply stunning! I had no idea it would be so beautiful. The polished movement is a work of art. WOW! I only had my pocket camera and the photos do not do it justice.

I also wanted to show you how Fr. John stays fit and healthy!

As an owner of a similar watch since a few weeks ago, I completely agree that the watch is beautiful, and I like very much the possibility of viewing the so nice movement through the transparent case back.

Thank you Bill!! Yes, it is the exact same model, and the dial and straps matching color adds to the beauty.
