$225,000 watch in flesh!!!!!
Ok guys let me tell you a story awhile ago...Me and my wife ate a Japanese restaurant here in Boca...and i cant help watching this guy wearing a Humongous watch...it was a little bit far to distinguish...i told my wife..."Did you see that mans watch?? and my wife said " i cant tell from this far but its seems the watch is glittering in gold....so i keep on looking and actually for got about my food...i cant concentrate and kept on looking every time the guy move his hands and trying to catch a glimpse..so i cant stand it anymore stood up and went very close..so close that i can almost touch it....Then there!!!!! A ROGER DUBUIS IN ROSE GOLD!!!! I ALMOST FAINTED THAT THIS GUYS WATCH CAN BE USED TO BUY A HOUSE OR A CAR!!!!!! went home and do my research MSRP $225,000 and i was like!!! OMFG!!!! this guys is wearing a Polo shirt a cargo shorts and a flip flops and speaks Russian!!! Oh my!!anybody have seen RD in flesh??? I copy a picture from one website it might not be too big but here it is.....Anybody has a better picture please post it...or better if someone owns one...

Wow, your jaw must have hit the ground. Truly a magnificent piece of art. The most unique watch I've seen up close was a Platinum Ulysse Nardin Freak DIAMonSIL which is about $100K less than this RD.

There are many Russian millionaires, heck, billionaires even, out there. Lots of money, and no time for fakes. My money is on it being real. I've seen some Russian shopping sprees in Singapore and Hong Kong. Impressive, but sad.

Making it doubly redundant.
It's supposed to be a dual escapement regulation system, but apart from sounding fancy, Roger Dubuis have not been forthcoming on the reasons for the system. |
