Z series Rolex

We had a Z series Rolex come in Saturday,

It is a S/S Datejust, fluted bezel, black roman dial, jubilee bracelet.

I really like it but I wish it had an oyster bracelet.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Z series Rolex? I would be curious to see a photo of one?

Regard, Robert

Or, does the Z simply refer to the Model/Serial number?

Z-series is just the very latest alphabet for their serial numbers. The previous was D which seems to have now come to an end as far as production is concerned.

Yes The one million individual watchmakers employed by Rolex each made their one D series watch and each watch took one full year to complete, of course On to the Z's

C'mon Craig, you forgot to say that every step is a "complex process." You are losing your Rolex touch my friend!
