Omega Snoopy

I have the old omega snoopy which i bought a couple of years back.

Now I see that another snoopy watch has come out and I would really like to buy it but the price is still very high, too high actually :-(

Everyone keeps saying that the prices will go down soon, it always happens...bla bla bla...
I had a look now and they are still trading for like 15k....

So do you guys think the price will go down in the foreseeable future ?

Thx :)

I don't think the prices will drop very much. I have wanted one for a while. I don't even know if omega has released all of them because they were such a pain to produce the caseback.

I don't think prices will come down. This is just another example a watch i would have bought if readily available, but no. I can't buy it? Sorry Omega, moving to other brands.

Looks like it's a good idea to jump on any limited edition model that Omega put out - they all seem to sell out and go up in price..

Apart from the 2998. Or the Spectre Bond. Or...

The Snoopy Omega 2016 was a big surprise, even for Omega.

Dont think the price will come down at all or ever. It might increase, as a few months ago there were still people selling around 10k. Now as you mentioned, 15k. It was a very unique piece and pleasant overall design. If you got the moolah, might as well get it. No regrets if you truely love the piece, rather than buying something else that you are not 100% into.

Snoopy jumped way up...but plenty of limited editions go for more than original if you look...spectre sm300, liquid metal po, apollo soyuz, gemini iv, mitsukoshi etc....once in awhile, there are some hits amongst all then le's omega rolls out heh. I'm thinking the speedy tuesday will be similar.

Imo, im less certain speedy tuesday will fetch as much premium as the snoopy. Yes the reverse panda was nice, but so do many brands that has the same set up. Snoopy is unique because there is none like it.

Just think about how much your original Snoopy has gone up in the last few years........this was a $4k - $5k watch just a few years ago.......now sellers are asking $9K - $10K

Yes, plenty of limited edition did not meet any success. I think the one around the Moon missions are the most successfull.

I missed out on the Snoopy and prices are still very high so is out of reach for me.
I can't see it ever be sold at below list price in the future.
Are anyone still waiting for the call to collect theirs?

Exactly !
I was trying to source the old snoopy and in prices around 6.000 I was thinking that is insanely expensive. Nowadays the complete old snoopy have skyrocketed.
So OP how do you expect to see the prices of the new snoopy to come down when yours is skyrocketed ?

One thing to bear in mind also is that the longer you leave it, the less chance of finding a brand new perfect piece.
Buy one now or regret if forever

First post! I had a chance at the Snoppy and didn't jump on it. I've regretted so much. That is part of the reason I jumped on the Speedy Tuesday watch. Lesson learned.
