Seriously? You think Rolex would be so careless with their endlinks? Maybe Google a bit before posting? How much was seller asking?

Geez, the poor guy was just asking. What's wrong with coming to this forum with that kind of question ?

Link us to the listing then, let us see it. Because I'm pretty sure he's asking WELL under the asking price of any real Daytona.

I'm quite certain, 1 of 3 things will now happen. 1. you're not going to respond, 2. say you somehow miraculously found this guys details in person and not on the internet (which is practically impossible), or 3. the listing is mysteriously all of the sudden deleted.

Will happily take back my comment and apologize if you want to prove me wrong. If not, I will be 5 for 5 in calling people out in the past few weeks without a single proper response.

all 3 of his posts since 2016 deal with real or fake. Ive been around long enough to be skeptical as most low post count people are trying to pass off a fake watch and then try to see how convincing it is by asking here

Not saying that is the case in this situation but most often it is.

There is nothing authentic about this watch; it is a very common fake.

I am always doubtful of new members with no interaction or participation other than posting obvious an fake and asking what specifically gives it away. What really surprises me are the members who rush to their defense when they are called out for it. As if there isn't a shortage of internet trolls out there.

looks polished, yet, the bezel tachymetre numerals still have no fading! someone needs to tell rolex that someone figured a way to not have them fade.

and its a fake.

And exactly as I thought, OP has been back on the forums, saw this post, and chose option 1 of refusing to respond. Members should stop replying to these threads.

I find them entertaining, these folks all know they have a fake watch. Also, if there is a problem they always seem to get it resolved (was sold a fake watch but got my money back), yeah right if you have been successfully scammed you do not get your money back, that is the whole point of the scam...

For those of us who are proper newbs, how can you tell so quickly it's a fake from those photos?

I've never owned a Daytona or seen one in person up close, but I've drooled over photos and nothing jumps out at me right way other than the bracelet looks a little off.

Also, what incentive do scammers have to ask about fakes? Are they just testing the waters?

Please forgive my ignorance.

Wait until you´re into your 3rd year of this and you will have a greater appreciation of why this gets old and rubs the wrong way.

For that $100, he should also get a two piece with fries and some cornbread included. At least the combo would be real.

If you don't know anything about Daytona just look at the bracelet itself here. PCL's are clearly spotty on those pictures. It reeks of low quality "polish"
