Been looking to add a AP ROO in my collection. Just wondering just how desirable are the titanium line? I saw one with dark titanium case and bracelete with a blue dial, looks really nice... but not sure if I would have trouble selling later on due to the metal. The reason of my concern is that I feel Panerai TI models tend to sit on resell market for longer then their SS counter parts. Any experts on AP ROO please let me know your thoughts? any down side to getting a TI model? any advantages? thanks!

I think the model you are referring to is one older TI model, I love the dark grey dial on the newer model.
And I think you are probably right about the resell market on titanium watches in general,
Myself are not that fond of having a light weight watch in that size.
I have tried that model several times and Yes it is a bit more comfortable as it doesn't weigh that much but I probably would ding the s#%t out of it when you almost don't feel it's there.

You are right on the money... it is a discontinue TI model with blue dial. Thank you so much for your input. I think I would prefer the SS model as well, but isnt TI suppose to be more scratch and ding resistent?

I wouldn't say so although it is a bit darker and the scratches might not show that much.

When buying an AP ROO you want to feel the weight of that beast on your wrist. The SS ROO with bracelet weighs approximately 225 grams (almost half a pound). Buying a titanium one defeats the purpose! Good luck with your search.

hey i got a ti roo

i love it ! why?
-lightweight (160gram) with ti bracelet
-sportier look (dark shade)
-more exclusive, coz i seen so many pandas and volcanos , but only few ti
-more of the LE are using titanium too.
-stronger metal and more expensive than SS.

just my .2 cents hth

There is nothing wrong with Ti. The resale value seems to be roughly the same (maybe a shade lesser), but the real problem that it is harder to sell though. Go if you like it, buy for yourself but not the others (that is the general advice

).
