Can’t wait to see how they look my friend

I have a bunch of straps for my 690, but I always keep going back to the factory original ... it just looks so perfect to my eye and it gets a really cool patina and darkens a bit with time

I just ordered a Sharkskin strap in light grey with slate stitching from Micah. This is going to be a knock out strap for my 959!

Can’t wait to see the blueberry horween on the 690. I’d do anything to be able to get a 690 new.

Received the straps today at work.
I was wearing the 690 so couldn’t wait to try it. Lol

First impression of the strap:
Great color and feel!
Similar to a nice leather jacket.
The stitching is subtle.. but has a nice sheen when hit by sunlight to show itself beautifully.
Vintager does nice stitching and the whole strap is finished meticulously.
Only thing was the strap was wider by 1mm than the oem. But I don’t have ruler at work, so I will verify if it’s actual 26mm when I get home later.

I wanted something dark for change-up since I have the oem strap which is a nice light color.
And I wanted something that complement the watch and not overwhelm it.
Goal accomplished.

I will post the other strap when I try it on later.

Very nice. That's the Horween blueberry right?

With respect to your comment that the strap seems 1mm wider than OEM, that might only be at the lugs. Micah makes his straps a little wider than is ordered just at the lugs to ensure a nice snug fit. Sometimes the leather condenses/compresses/shrinks slightly and he wants to ensure that the strap maintains its snug fit between the lugs.

Thx. Ues, it is the horween blueberry. The pics above show little brighter than it really is.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this leather to all 690 owners.

The true color is more like the pics below.

And yes, the 1mm is at the lugs.
And I hear u about the snug fit. Thx. It was super snug. Lol

The other strap, Churro, I am on the fence still..

The strap itself is wonderful. Nice felt-like texture.. with great finish and fit.
Looks very nice with the 911, and adds a nice casual feel to it.

The issue is the color vs the pic on his website.
I expected something little more mustard-like, even tho the description states “veriagated brown” lol

Overall, I would rate the Horween Blueberry as 9/10 and the churro 7/10.
His craftsmanship, however is 9.5/10

So decided to return the “churro” strap.. and replace with the Horween Harvest with goldenrod stitching. Just wasn’t feeling the color on 911.

Will update once I get the new strap.

You guys are in great hands with Micah. Customer service first and amazing straps. I actually own the first strap he ever made that wasn’t for himself. It was a gift and totally handmade.

How did you justify the return? Just that you didnt Like the color and it wasn’t representative of the color on the website?

I read his guarantee but I still feel like if I get a strap that’s exactly what I ordered but I simply didn’t like the color that I’d feel bad asking for a remake.

Thoughts?

Informed him that although the strap I received was great, it was not the color I was hoping for.
Just asked him what my options were. Lol
He said to pick another, and he will get started ASAP.

Honestly, he is very ez to work with and his skills speak for themselves.
U can also tell that he takes pride in his work.
I might have to re-read his guarantee, but afaik he will replace the strap for any damage.. for lifetime. Wow.

Received the replacement strap from Micah yesterday.
Horween Harvest with goldenrod stitching.

Gorgeous strap. I would describe it as a butterscotch with slight sheen. The kind used for nice leather jacket. The pics don’t do it justice. For some reason first pic came out too dark and later pics came out slightly light. All taken indoors last night.

This strap gives complete a new look to the 911 in person. Even the green dial looks like different hue.. slightly more olive. Like the eyes playing tricks. Lol
The strap/thread color matches the hands and the hour marker lumes. I can also tell that this strap will develop amazing patina in time.

Overall, this strap is a must-have for any Pam owners, regardless of the dial color. It’s that good. Again, don’t mind the color in the pics lol. In person, it’s perfect. I will try to take pics outside later.

Micah’s skill is top notch. So is his customer service.

Nice! Can't wait for my horween harvest to arrive (ordered about a month ago). Does it fit exactly the same as your other two straps (the one you returned and the one you kept)?

U r gonna love the strap!

The size (24/22 135/75) is same as the one I returned, which is for the Luminor

The other strap I kept was for Radiomir (26/22 135/75)
