Ulysse Nardin Marine Maxi Blue Dial OR Omega Seamaster Blue Dial?

I want a sporty blue dial watch on a blue rubber strap and have narrowed it down to these two watches and they are both in the same $5-6k price range so it’s making my decision tough!!!

When you vote, please post your reasoning for one or the other.

Omega Seamaster blue dial with blue rubber strap:

Ulysse Nardin Marine Maxi blue dial with blue rubber strap:

Omega for me but for pure asthetics- I find the strap and romans on the UN awkward . Not hating on it, just my opinion. Full disclosure, I own the seamaster in black and a buddy is about to buy the blue. Fantastic watch

Both great watches but the UN looks a bit too busy for me.

To me, the UN seems to be haute horology, whereas the Seamaster is just an extremely nice capable watch, but not HH. Is that accurate do you think?

Why not the new UN diver on sail cloth?

The two watches are so different that I have a hard time believing there is somebody who likes both or needs more than a split second to feel which of the two sings to them, if any...

Neither for me as the blue UN does look like a mess and I don't like the wave dial and hands of the Omega.

UN is out . . . too busy and I am NOT a fan of Roman. I have the plain black dial Omega Seamaster and it is a fantastic watch.

I would just choose the Omega on bracelet, I really like this version, esp with grey dial and blue bezel, I had a UN MMD and it was a great piece with lots of intricate work on the dial and bezel so would heartily recommend those as well.

My choice would be between the Ulysse Nardin and the Omega Seamaster blue dial with blue rubber strap, I would ultimately go with the Omega.

The new limited edition blue-dial JLC Polaris Date on blue rubber strap is the perfect answer to your question.

Omega. Love the top offerings from UN, but their Marine line is too busy for me.

UN, if you want a capable diver it's nice to have a power reserve complication when under water. My .02

Thank you. Yes you don’t see them often especially the one on bracelet Is rarer. They’re both available for great price.
