LOL, went to a gathering of college friends and it looked like the host was wearing a gold/blue Sub. I almost said "Nice Sub" in front of everyone before noticing that it was an Invicta! Pretty good clone, it wasn't just the beer goggles

Her boyfriend must have one similar. Michael Korrs is normally how chicks discover watches. Both brands shamelessly copy well established designs from the major houses. I'm surprised they don't do a Nautilus.

Except Hyundai doesn't make Lambo clones. That's one of the reasons I can't stand Invicta.

It's a shame because Invicta was once a reasonably respectable mid tier brand. I was shocked to see a vintage one. Nothing like today's oddball stuffs.
I actually know someone who keeps being offered them at apparent discounts since he bought one. Kind of a 'coldcall' business model from what I can gather. I feel for the guy.

Doesn’t sound too bad to me.... the only time my watches get noticed is when I have my 116718 on. Then every once in awhile people tend to say things like “are you wearing a gold watch?” “Is that real gold?” “What kind of watch is that?” Yada yada. One time a woman asked if I could hold it up so she could look closer at it. There were other people around so I felt it would be more awkward if I said “no” so I just went with it.

It feels a bit awkward depending on my mood. I’d just rather not be bothered, but I do love me the YG

Was at the mall 2 weeks ago at the apple store, while waiting for my phone to be checked out walked around and outside the apple store there is an Invicta booth so I decided to take a look, one of the sales/tech girls was hammering away on a watch ( real hammer ) don't know what she was trying to do, I just walked away cringing OMG! It hurt just watching her.

Hilarious about Michael Kors copying. Michael himself can usually be seen wearing a Sub. Might be a 5 digit.

Completely agree. I detest both MK and Invicta.

Yes... we all spend tens of thousands on Rolex watches so that we fly under the radar and hope that everyone else thinks our collection is worth £1000 in total as opposed to £50,000 in total.

Obviously she was regulating it to +6/-2.

My wife, who knows nothing about watches, recently walked by a case full of MK pieces (pun intended) and said they were the equivalent of costume jewelry.
