Anyone got a LV on a green rubber strap?

Hi
I suspect my new LV will be here by Christmas time and I'm thinking it could look pretty cool (and comfortable) on a green rubber strap.
Anyone done this and care to share some photos?

Thanks very much.

I think you will have trouble matching the green. I have a green Isofrane, and it’s not a good match, for my Steinhart Ocean 39, with the green bezel, which is pretty much a dead ringer for the LV. Also, any Sub I’ve seen off it’s bracelet just looks tacky. It’s weird! My seiko divers look great on rubber, but Rolex Subs look awful. I can’t explain why, but it’s true.

Agree with you on the first point that matching the green will be difficult.
Disagree with you on the second point though, I have seen pics of a number of SD43s on black rubber and they looked awesome imho.

Have a good weekend

I don’t know about green but I have seen on both white and on red. Looks fun. Worst thing that happens if you don’t like it is you are out $200 for a rubberB or an Everest strap.

We all have our own weird quirks in this hobby. One of mine is that a Sub looks best on its oyster bracelet, and I’m a strap Queen with my other divers. Just have a look at what I’m wearing today….Go figure!

Completely agree, we all like different things...and the world is better for it!
How do I see what you are wearing today?

Too much green. I think the way it is from factory is perfect. Judging by the lack of photos on this post, no one has done this. Yet.

For me, color is an accent - but I understand everyone's tastes and styles are different.

You could well be right and that's why I wanted to see pics.
I've found some pics online of the hulk on a green strap and that definitely is too much green!

The problem is not the green, the problem is the Rolex Submariner case is very much designed to be fitted on a bracelet. Putting something entirely different on just looks aesthetically and proportionally wrong.

Agreed! The 5 digits do look pretty cool on rubber and other various straps. The new 6 digits , not so much.

The green will be difficult to match and even if it did I would want it on a bracelet. Your watch though, so do as you please.

after seeing the above picture, it reinforces (for me personally), it is way over the top - but YMMV. If that's your thing, go for it.

Lot of people like this watch. I don’t see anything wrong with a LV on rubber.

The old gen LV is a bit too much green though.

Beautiful watch. Would look better on a bracelet though.
