Interested in this reference. Is this one of the difficult watches to obtain from an AD? Any idea what the wait time is on it? Thanks

Phil

Some members here have this watch, you may want to hear from them how they got it.

Received mine last December,

Now if you ask a AD for it without any history, I'd expect a long wait

Heads up its a great watch

Received mine in March.
Placed the order at a joint Patek / AD event in the November before.

Actually... no one has yet to sell me an aquanaut. I just asked for a 5167 the other day... my guess it be next year... I got smaller wrist than most... but bigger than yours :) so I have to keep to smaller aquanauts.

I suspect even ap1 has a larger wrist than me.

I do think Aquanauts are meant for people with larger wrists though.

If they'll even take your name, figure two to three years, which is why it sells for almost twice retail in the grey market.

Hey, how did I get dragged into this. Yes, guilty of small wrist. 6.5 here. Does limit which pieces wear well on me. 5164 is about the max sportwise. Sometimes I question even that. I’ve avoided 5990 entirely not believing you guys that say it wears like a sub. Not like I can walk into a store to prove this right or wrong. I’m worried the spectacular 5212 has lugs that won’t agree with me. Was this TMI?

Imo its harder to get than a nautilus due to AD's only receiving 1 or 2 currently. Its probably my most favorite in production sports Patek they offer. I'd rather own a 68 than a 11. Hopefully will get one next year around April/May
