Looks great! Congrats. I've been obsessing over this watch lately. What's your wrist size (if you don't mind me asking lol)?

I ended up keeping the SubC as well. Lol. But I find myself wearing the 5167 almost daily. I like it more than I thought I would. The Daytona is getting almost no wrist time, the 5711 maybe once a week, and the Aquanaut at least 4-5 days out of the week. I went to Cancun this weekend for a friends bachelor party and took the SubC, A watch I can forget about and know it will withstand anything that happens. So I think it has its place in my collection. This is the collection and I think I'll leave it like this for as long as I can. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro |

Superb pic! Thats good to know about the Sub, I am actually on a VERY similar path to yourself so your pic has given me a great indication of what my watch collection may look like!! SS Daytona - also keeping my white SS Sub - my daily wearer however mine is the 114060 (no date) 5711 - dealer says I am on target for this year. 5167 - have a few watches to flip for this, however I must admit ive also been tempted to flip the Daytona also and go for the 5164. I will see what impact the 5711 has on my Daytona. As I'm not a dress watch person the Daytona is my dressing up watch which I imagine will be demoted by the 5711! Ideal 3 would have been blue dial 5711, black dial 5167 and white dial Daytona however dont fancy using a watch with PCL as a daily wearer |

I did it. Second Patek in a month
About a year ago, I pulled the trigger on a 5164. 3 days later, I got a call from a dealer, many states away, saying that they got a blue 5711 in stock, and that I was next on the list. At that time, I had been on wait lists in several states, for over a year. I couldn't pass it up, right? So I took it. Patek #1 and 2, in less than 3 days. It felt so wrong, but with both on the wrist, it felt so right. I didn't buy another watch for about a year after that.
My banker was incredulous after the first wire, and really didn't know what to say after the second wire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Funny you mentioned this since it has also crossed my mind to flip the 5167 and Daytona for a 5164. But after consideration I feel the 5164 and 5167 are very similar to justify getting rid of the Daytona. Not worth it. Those thought are just the mind looking for "the next thing". I need to ignore it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro |

Yes I think you have a good point!
Also the date on the 5164 bugs me. I would like to add a GMT but maybe not this one. Think I need to try one on in the near future! |

I like having a chrono or two in the collection. I'd hold onto the Daytona. I do love the travel time complication, though. It's rock solid, and you can't beat the comfort of the strap, as you well know.
