Exactly what I think, its not the difficulty of making the enamel dial as hard as it is you could train surely a handful of people to make these dials and produce more per year.. I believe its the Patek Philippe mystery factor here and their restrictions of how many go out so demand will always exceed the supply like most of the other pieces they make..

I do not even pay any attention to the number of 5131 produced. I just interested to know How could I have all 5131J, G , R and P.

You are very lucky to collect it so early. I guess I am going to have 5131-011.

Do these versions have big difference?

5131 is a such beauty that everyone wants to has it on his wrist. You are a good father. I am going to pass all my PP to my daughter too. I hope she and her future husband will not sell them out.

I hope you can have your dream(5131P) come true soon.

Ha Ha. I don't have J. I think I am not going to have P because I told my AD I am not going to ask for a P if I can have a R. Maybe I am not smart enough.

the relationship with your AD is the only thing that matters.
I received every "special' Patek I asked for.
I did not sell one of them.
Interesting. So friendship over money? I'll start sending my AD nice whiskeys and Yankees tickets.
