It's unprecedented for Patek to pre-release details of Baselworld launches. Seems as if these are official pre-releases given that they are also on Hodinkee etc.

IF they did that with a really cool black textile strap with red stitching they would have a hot seller. Why they produce that heinous bracelet I'll never know. Feels incredibly cheap on the wrist.

Yes, they love it there. And all 5960s.

You have probably never seen or touched the 5960/1A in person. Its bracelet is really a work of art with details that one can appreciate only in flesh. Not to everyone's taste but the quality is definitely there.

Totally agree - the strap from the unique 5004T would be perfect!

new black dial PP 5960 Would look good on black strap, or on brushed bracelet, really not a fan of how it looks like on bracelet

Looking forward to a 5960 with strap.

The lugs meant for the bracelet seems longer than what are needed to hold the straps.

Having handled it a few times I disagree. Also I would guess sechsgang has handled it as well seeing as nearly every PP AD has one in the case.

Edit: I should rephrase. I'm not really disagreeing with you in that it's quality. I just don't like the polish. So my comment is rather irrelevant.

That actually really nice. Much better than the bracelet and I usually always prefer bracelets.

I like the watch very much in white or black and appreciate that it comes in SS,
just not In the market for calendar complications

Funny, might be -2mm in size, sans AC ,a strap and a 35k price tag would make this piece hot .

It's not that it isn't well made, it's just that it reminds me of a Breitling or IWC bracelet and I don't want to think of them when I look at my Patek.

It was in holding and trying it that I realized how cheap it felt honestly. AP, Rolex, VC, and even other Patek bracelets (mainly the nautilus line) are just way, way nicer IMHO.
