Need your expert advice; would you buy this?

Greetings RF,

I'm a new member here. I originally created this account because I wanted to save up funds and buy an explorer. However, I keep finding watches that keep taking my funds. Anyhow, I ran into this Tudor jumbo 75303 and wanted your expert advice. The seller states that everything is original and untouched to his knowledge. Would you all agree? I've tried to research the serial number but Tudor info is hard to source. My main concern is the legitimacy of the watch. The seller seems to have a good selling reputation. Any information or opinion anyone can offer will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Description from seller and photos.

"For sale Vintage Tudor Watch Jumbo prince oyster date rotor self –winding with solid gold fluted bezel 75303, SN is 546xx

I wouldn't buy it; I buy only rolex with B&P. Hang on to your dream of buying an explorer -- way better than a nondescript Tudor imho. Good luck!

I very doubt the dial is original as the printing is very sloppy.

Do Tudor's usually have a crown with a Rolex logo?

Up to the late 1990s, yes. And "Rolex ... " on the caseback.

One endlink looks fake to me. The lug tips are chewed up to me. This is a two tone model and my impression is that they bring less money than a ssteel. The steel is 74000 and TT is 74100? Seems like it. What is the price?

That's what I didn't like either. It seems like its right where the gasket sits.

They're asking $1000 for it.
