I think this is the most exceptional Panerai I have owned....

I finally picked up a 233....I've lusted after one for a couple of years after all

The local AD was in sale so I just could not resist. I think I've tried on the 233 in there about 50 times

I have had this stunning watch for a just over a week...It has not left my wrist.

What can I say:

Domed glass
Sandwich dial
P.2002 8 day Power reserve - amazing watch to wind - goes on forever
Clear case back so you can gaze at this fabulous in house from panerai
GMT - with AM/PM indicator
Date - I do like one
Wonderful case - sits so flat and comfortably on my wrist - the finish is perfect:
The tunnel strap - love it - but others will go on in time. I do feel that the 233 works so well on this it's hard to take off - so comfortable

I really do not know why I waited Right now this is the only Panerai for me.

Here are some pics taken with the iPhone - and a video that will have appeared before below them but I just thought it's such a cool view you may like to see it

Thanks for looking and Happy new year!

PICS:

Very, very nice D.

IMO the 8 day manual wind is one of the few where having a PR meter makes sense.

Thanks again

I agree Eddie - Never really understood the PR on a non-manual wind....It's a great thing to watch the PR meter go up...and down....I'm tragic:bang head:

Congrats Dalip. I love my 233K dot dial. It's all that I could ever want in a Panerai model for the reasons you mentioned.

Congratulations on an amazing Panerai.

It really does have it all - '50's case, 8-day reserve, handwind, domed sapphire, REG TM crown guard, quick change strap bars, open caseback, PR indicator, date, GMT function, steel hands, sandwich dial, and large main numerals. Old and new Panerai DNA.
