Jubilee on a Daytona

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

What jubilee and end links would be right/ period correct for a 6239 Daytona? Did Rolex ever factory fit a jubilee on it?

The look has always fascinated me and was thinking of sourcing a correct jubilee for my 6239.

Best,
Anirudh

Hello, I believe the 6251 folded link Jubilee with 74 endlinks will fit the 6239. That would be a period correct option for your watch although I am not sure if they were factory fitted originally from Rolex.

The 6251 then is 19mm?

Do any of these look ok?

I have a 62510H and the code is stamped on the clasp. Is it not the case with the folded link jubilees?

Appreciate all your help.

Cheers,
Anirudh

The end links are 19mm wide, not the 6251 Jubilee bracelet. This bracelet also works on models with 20mm lugs with the proper end links.

Therefore even the newer 62510H would fit if I get the correct endlinks?

In theory yes as long as you have the right 19mm end links the newer one should fit. You could even file down the sides of the 20mm end links you already have and make them fit if you like.

I can vouch for djpropel. That's Charlie at Watches Etc here in Oklahoma City. He's legit. I'm wearing a vintage DJ right now that I got from him. He has an unbelievable inventory of both watches and parts. If you don't see it on eBay, he's probably got it. Call him.

Thank you for all your help. How does this bracelet look to your keen eyes?

End links are aftermarket but genuine end links are not that hard to find. I believe a have a couple sets of the 19mm end links for the USA Jubilee.

The bracelet appears fairly nice and I don't see any issues besides the end links.

Endlinks needed are 49 endlinks or 574 endlinks. 49's are for USA/oval link jubilee's and 574's are for the later "D link" jubilee bracelets. As Springer noted above, correct endlinks are difficult to find.

Here is a 6239 with original USA jubilee and 49 endlinks.

74 or 49 is correct for folded jubilee. Replacement part for solid junilee is 574. No idea if they ever made any 2xx or 3xx ends for the Daytona.
