5270P... pulled the trigger

after long time thinking and searching, i pulled the plug last week and paid the deposit for a 5270P. i will receive it end of Aug. this is my first grand complication addition to my Patek collection and i felt it it was time for a big move. i looked at the 5970P and 5370P as well, but i just felt i got in Love with the 5270P vs the others, specially that this is a watch i am planning to keep.

will post some pictures once i receive it end of Aug. i know this watch is a controversial piece for many collectors, but if you have had the opportunity to own it, try it or even debate it, let me know. i am getting myself more and more educated about it!

for now, i am so happy i will have this added to my collection.

Yep you were back and forward about it for a while but I’m glad you went on with it.
It is a great piece, as for the controversy part that’s not an issue at all
Was it in the same price range as the 5370P? (We are talking AD prices)

Congrats and great choice! Looking forward to the pics. It’s a true grail and similarly I chose mine over a 5970. I quite like the cutouts and more legible dial.
