This piece would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection. We love the early Rolex DateJust for its simplicity and its classic sophistication. This specific example just received a complete overhaul and is running flawlessly! SPECS Stock # RLXDJ1601-68/2 Brand Rolex Style Datejust Model 1601 Serial 18XXXXX Size Men's Material SS Dial Grey Millimeters 36 Bracelet Hand Made Leather Strap CASE & BRACELET The case has been previously polished but retains full thick lugs and is in fantastic condition. The original white gold fluted bezel remains in wonderful condition. The watch will come supplied on a hand made vintage style strap as pictured. DIAL & HANDS This specific 1968 DateJust Ref. 1601 retains it original silver gray "Pie Pan" stick marker dial which has taken on an interesting 'purple like' color change. The lume dots and tritium filled hands are matching and have achieved a wonder full warm creamy patina. When ACCESSORIES None. Watch was fully serviced and running at COSC spec backed by 1 year warranty on movement.
