I have dainty wrists, but want a Panerai

Title says it all.

I can max wear 40mm, 41 is stretching it. I really want a Panerai, but not sure which model to go with. I was going to head to AD to take a look but they are all closed today.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If you are happy wearing a 15400 and an ROO, you can easily wear & enjoy a Panerai.

I also have small wrists. I found 44mm Luminor manual wind was the perfect fit.

Maybe. Bad influence! Which boutique in BH are you talking about? I thought there was only AD there.

Panerai has 40mm and also a newly introduced 38mm versions of the Luminor. Same great look, in a smaller size. Google and check them out.

I’m looking forward to trying on the new 38 mm luminor, especially the white dial.

I have 6.75 inch wrist ... 44mm PAM is just too big on me , as much as i have wanted to I just can’t pull it off. 42mm is sweetspot for me w Panerai, so you may want to give them a try. Most people won’t be able to tell a 42 from 44 , but a 38 may seem awkwardly smallish for a luminor

I owned a Pam 005, which is 44mm. It was too big for me and I sold it.

However, I have tried on 40mm models and they look great.

I know 38mms are on the way, also. Go to the store and try them.

Any 44mm Luminor will wear the same as your AP ROO. Go try one on and you’ll see.

Try one on, I didn’t think it would work for me Either until I did. I own a 44mm luminor and it fits great. Also check out the due, slimmer design.

What size is your wrist? Mine are not exactly tree trunks at 7.25" but I get on with 44mm 1950 Luminor automatic and manual.

I have a friend who’s wrist is smaller than yours. Guess what? He has both 44 mm (390) and a 47 mm (127 fiddy). For your information, PANERAI watches are supposed to be worn big. Getting a “small” PANERAI would be a, IMO, big mistake.

This thread needs some pictures to convince you. My friends puny wrist on the left. I am wearing a 422.

My 44 mm Panerai

Even my wife is getting into bigger Panerai, seen here wearing my 24 with her red strap, she has a model 48 which is a 40 mm size.

If you have a Rolex, a 44 mm PANERAI does not wear bigger than a BLNR or a Submariner, but it wears taller or thicker, depending on which term you prefer. Look,,,

With the wife again but she wearing the Polar on our trip.

In summary, to be getting into Panerai, my advice is to go big.

Your signature has 15400 in it. I find that is too big for me but I can easily wear a 44mm luminor and 47mm radiomir wire lug case.

You can defintely pull off a 44mm Luminor or a 45mm Rad or 1940 Transitional case. I have seen way too many Ristis start with 42mm and regret it soon thereafter. Go try in a 44mm and fonfornit. But if you are stuck on 42mm, I would stick to the 682 submersible (wears bigger) or the 722 bracelet model (also wears slightly bigger with bracelet)...

There are plenty of great 44mm Luminor models to choose from...
