My Audemars Piguet journey - next moves and ideas.

Shamelessly inspired by JorgeCCW's thread in the Patek forum.

First and foremost, it was the Royal Oak Offshores that caught my eye from day one when I started looking at AP. I've always been a fan of sportier watches and something (everything) about the big 44's just hit me as perfect. Started my journey with a full black dial RG44 and with last week's acquisition have sprouted my collection into this:

I friggen love them! I dove into AP through an AD before they announced they were going boutique only and subsequently have had to develop new relationships - but as such have met many awesome people as a result.

Looking at my whole collection I'm extremely pleased with and blessed to be where I'm at.

It's been a big 18 months for inbound watches and as I look to the future I'm thinking about where to go from here. In terms of what's currently available I'm pursuing two additional AP's with the following criteria: bracelets, one steel, one PM, and ideally one a 15407. Outside of that, completely content with what I've got. All my AP's get regularly worn in rotation although the PoG is going to put the others at risk for wrist time.

Madly in love with the ruthenium dial, would love to see AP offer a 15500or with one. Have checked the CODE line out in detail recently and can honestly say it's not for me in its current offering. Curious to see what 2020 brings us with regards to new watches!

I love your 44 collection, and the straps, plus the camo I believe is coming, I'd get a Schumi if I was you, maybe the TI one, otherwise a Nautilus chrono.

Cool collection. I love those Offshores but unfortunately my wrist is too small. Will be interesting to see where this goes

Wonderful collection! The grey dial RG ROO is an amazing piece and worthy of consideration for the PM slot. And the 15500 (or, IMHO, the 15400 if you go legacy) is amazing

Amazing collection! Love the ceramic diver in particular. In regards to ur next move have you thought about the 26470PT with the full pt bracelet? Love the dial on that one and it comes with an extra strap/pin buckle.

I tried to attach a photo but for some reason cant

Very nice set!
Love ceramic pieces.
What’s next? Maybe code 11.59? (Sarcasm)
Maybe one of RO (not offshore) chronos?

My mind tells me to trade in my 1550ST for this exact ceramic diver as I would definitely wear it daily but afraid I might miss owning the iconic bracelet.

If you mean 15500st then I would keep that, particularly if it’s the grey or blue dial. Jmo.

Looks like we have very similar tastes though you seem to like the dark sub dials and I like the light ones.
Definitely go for the 15407 if you can. Covers off everything the 15500 can do and then some !!

Wow, great collection congrats! As other said definitely something with bracelet 15407 and of course jumbo or 15500 if jumbo perceived as too small, you need that AP shade of blue its perfect...

I hear you , PC is in its own league. But for me humble Jorge , and you know how freak out I am with the scratches......my watch of choice (personally) is any ROO 44mm with Ceramic Bezel . You can be careless while wearing a boss watch , damn I miss my AP. Next year I might get it back
Cheers

Love the new Pride of Ger! Unfortunately I still think its too big on me when I tried it on... but I think you're on the right track.. a 407 in any metal would be amazing.. looking forward to your incoming
