Incoming! 5524R

Words can't describe how excited I am right now. Ever since Basel I've been looking at the new 5524R and 7234R and a couple of days ago I even posted on here to see what you guys think. I went to AD late last week, and they told me they had one coming in soon. Got the email today and immediately left office to take a look. I really wanted to see how the rose gold look in person and if the size is insurmountable for my tiny wrist.

Annnnd.... of course I couldn't help myself.

It's funny in some lighting you can't even tell its rose gold, but in others the dial and the case work so brilliantly together. With regards to the size, I think it's definitely on the larger side for me. But given that it's not on a bracelet, and it does hug the wrist pretty well, I felt comfortable wearing it for sure. Again, size similar to a lange time zone which i have no issues wearing. We had to make two new holes on the strap, but a short strap is already on order, hopefully won't take too long. Also changed out my standard brown strap on the 5146. The blue makes it almost look like a different watch. Will have a tough time deciding which one to go for in the morning for quire a while

The store director was beyond great. Very helpful and and I appreciate it so much especially considering I have never previously done business with them. Will definitely make them my regular AD.

Cheers

I agree with your assessment of the color. Its not a very dark RG at all.

Looking great here. Congrats on the 5524R! The 5146 is also cool, especially with the new strap.

First 5524R incoming, huge congratulations!

It looks pretty good - we have similar sized wrists and the size is one of my main concerns still.

It's indeed a very light rg. Especially under direct light. Sorta have to turn it at an angle for the color to come out.

Don't be concerned about the size. The strap is super comfortable. And the lack of a buckle actually helps it hold onto the wrist. Having seen this in person I'm convinced the 7234 will definitely be on the smaller side.
