FWIW, out of the entire Rolex catalogue, my girl chose a 31mm DJ, white dial & Romans. Looks perfect on her.

I think the best advice is to let her choose, otherwise problems.

I'm curious how many guys enjoy seeing their wives/girlfriends wearing subs, gmt's, daytona's and yacht masters only because they themselves will have a chance to wear the watch??

I’ve always thought the Daytona, especially in PM, looks stunning on women.

I gave my two-tone blue submariner to my daughter as that was the one she loved the best, and it looks great on her, though she doesn't wear it very often, leaves it home when she's off to college.

I would tend to agree. My wife is very small and she wears almost all 37's, a 40 would be way too big, I think the same would apply to most women, they just look out of place IMO.

But whatever makes one happy!

That's the EXACT only DJ my wife liked too. Quite classy. She still doesn't know if she could live with cyclops though.

Never, ever, ever tell a wife something does not look good on her. Never! Unless you have already planned your funeral.

To the men suggesting women should stick to smaller watch sizes: give it up already! Large size watches on women are a beautiful watch trend and if done tastefully and nicely accessorized, it creates a fantastic visual that is second to none.

Also, we see in the WIS world/pics, some men with very small wrists that are wearing huge PAMs or other large watches and are still being told 'looks good on you!'

In my opinion: 31mm especially accentuated with diamonds is now the elegant size (dressed in very feminine clothing), 36mm is a very comfortable day to day size, and 40 and above create a great look with nicer sport casual wear.

Best large size Rolex for women, without a doubt: Daytona on a bracelet.
Second to it, I would put 5 digit sub / gmt / sea dweller (thicker).

But I too highly suggest the lady picks for herself. There are tons of variables (contrast between skin color and the dial / metal color, other jewelry that they wear on a daily basis, or for special occasions, what looks cheap and what looks nice to them, etc.) that plays a role in their decision.

Max size I would go for is 36. Anything larger looks out of place IMO. I think the steel DJ34s and OP34s look great.

I just want to say, I haven't a clue how to answer your question but I think it's a great question regarding a current trend. I'm really enjoying the responses and pictures of ladies enjoying the hobby. My lady has very small wrists and hands so we never really try traditionally male references on her.

Best man's Rolex for a woman?

I'd say the 36mm DJ or one of the 34mm OPs, Air Kings and Dates.

This is my GFs 115200
