Great choice. I got mine in 1986, and (with the help of a few services in between), it looks pretty much the same as the photos above. It's good for another 23 years.

I just purchased my first Rolex on November 28, 2009 at the Barron & Leeds Rolex store in South Coast Plaza. It is the Submariner 16610. It is definitely an awesome watch!

This guy was purchased brand new in December, 1993. Photo was taken yesterday. It goes to show that each and every Rolex watch is built to stay beautiful forever.

While I love the "bond" strap, I only really used it on my 14060m when swimming. (Not diving, swimming. While diving I use the SS bracelet.) Or when sailing, other than that the SS bracelet is my preference.
