I'll admit it...

I hate peeling stickers off watches.

Not because they become "unstickered" but because it is a pain in the ass.

Anyone else?

I usually let the salesperson do that for me. On my BB58 she missed one on the inside of the clasp that I found half a year later...

Take them off before I have even made payment usually. There is something wierdly enjoyable about peeling the stickers off. Hopefully I will be doing it at some point again soon in December.

I love to do it. Made a bet with the SA last time that I could find all of them and she took the bet... I won.

I’ve never had to do it. They present me the watch, I use my card, they take my arm size and send it to l’horloger, and then the watch comes back sized and stickerless.

Fun fact: 126660 is the Rolex with the most stickers.

White dial 116500 Daytona in 2017, kept finding more stickers every time I wore it. There might still be one on the clasp?!

Did you win an opportunity to buy another Rolex?

I used to enjoy getting some factory fresh, not even displayed. Then taking all the stickers off, and sizing it myself.

A couple of recent Rolex and Tudor purchases, they obviously insisted on removing all stickers and sizing. And honestly, I prefer that now. I purchased some non "hype" brand watches a couple of weeks ago that I could have taken home in any condition I wanted, but I asked the AD to remove the stickers and size it so I could just wear it immediately.

Call me strange, but I LOVE peeling off the stickers. I actually ask to do it. I am grateful for each purchase and want to cherish each experience. With how difficult things are now, not sure how many more chances I'll get!

Me too.

I usually ask them to peel everything off at the store, as I wear it right away.

Some do get missed still though.

About my thoughts as well....it seems I usually spread the task over a year or two, whether I want to or not.
