What Watch Would You Compare To Your Watch ?

When im out and about i like to watch spot as i guess you all do but i like to think of the equivalent car for the watch.

E.g. A Rolex GMT Master II YG as a ferrari 458 Spyder or a SLS ///AMG Mercades.

look at your favourite watch and and put what you think the equivilant car for it would be.

This is baised on looks and price

My fav car at the moment is the 458 and Im planning on buying the GMT YG so I like your comparo or maybe the RG RC as I think AP are more aligned to Ferrari and PP to RR and Rolex to Porsche/Merc.

Sure why not? Classic designs. Both are light and zippy. Lots of fun in the sun. Not to expensive (relatively speaking).

When comparing the watch to its car equivalent I dont think the watch should cost more than the car - this aint Glengarry Glenross ABC, Mike, ABC.

Funny I was thinking about this the other day too...

I think my PP annual calendar = an old Bentley
L&S Lange 1 = Aston Martin DB9
AP ROO = Porsche 991 C2S
Panerai/Rolex/IWC = ML 63 AMG SUV

Of course there is room at the top for these 3 brands of watches, just as there's more room for better cars.

"My watch cost more than your car!"

And Bateman's "Don't touch the watch" are my two fav watch lines from film.

I'm not a big fan of cars, they are incomparable to watches imo.
