116610LV Hulk Check

Guys, need your help here. I just bought a 2019 hulk from a trusted AD and i have never really seen one with the case back that is not flat. Everything else looks good but i was wondering. Thanks.

Is it being overly polished? It's less obvious on the crown guard size.

This is a pic of a real hulk with the back case from the 12 o'clock lug going to the 6 o'clock lug. It is a level surface. Mine somehow was not showing a level surface. My crown side shows less obvious trough lines which leads me to think it's just polishing causing the optical illusion.

I would stop focusing on that and start looking at the obvious signs to identify a fake. The clasp, the dial, the date, etching, etc. Get a loupe and start looking.

That definitely looks wonky.

I did use a loupe and i can't find anything that stands out, including the crown. Did you see something? I will try to take more photos later.

Far from an expert but the cyclops and the winding crown look wonky.

Hopefully just the pics. You say you bought it from an A D then I’d have them open it up.

Sorry, meant to say trusted reseller. I am going to drop by Rolex Service Center this friday to have them resize the links and see what they say.

Looking at the movement is usually the only way to confirm authenticity. All other forms of visual confirmation are subjective generally.
