Bezel Insert Reference Site

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is safe and well.

Is there a definitive 'bezel insert reference' site anywhere at all?

Over the years, I've accrued a few - some are later service items that have since been replaced, when I've managed to find correct 'fat font' inserts etc. but there are others that I'm not sure about.

I'd like to know what I have.

Or, is it a case of posting some photos here, and you guys can tell me?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks again David (and Xeramic)... as I suspected, I appear to have a bunch of MK7s and MK8s - and a MK4, which was a bonus.

And this 'Long 5' (I *think*) that is sadly split at the triangle.

Thanks again, really appreciated. Love this forum.

Frenchie be sure to study the first half and not just go directly to the pictures for comparison like I did. There are a lot subtle differences that could lead you to miscategorizing a bezel since you might not see all the characteristics of a bezel in his pictures. He explains why that might be sometimes. And the bezel you may have doubts on is perfectly genuine.

Also since you have some serious vintage pieces I suggest you read all of Mr Xeramic’s posts while you’re over there. His expertise covers all things vintage Rolex from A to Z. Very worthwhile reading. Personally I think he’s a robot created by Rolex and planted on the VRM to answer the endless amount of questions generated by vintage Rolex watches.
