Rolex in December

Do I have this right? Rolex shuts down their factory for the last 2 weeks in December to give employees what I can only imagine is a much-needed vacation.

In general, do ADs continue to receive shipments during this time?

I've been told by several ADs on the west coast they haven't had a shipment in the last 2 weeks. Are shipments done for the year?

Anecdotally, I believe my AD keeps getting shipments up until right before Christmas from RolexUSA. Pretty sure the US headquarters takes a week or two off during the holidays and probably the factory too but it doesn’t cause much of an issue at the AD level.

Historically, RUSA shuts down about a week before Christmas and does not reopen until the new year. Their last shipment goes out to ADs in mid-December before the shut down.
