ROC #26331ST Blue or White dial
Peeps,
I'm looking to buy an AP chrono #26331 and have my eye on either Blue or White dial. Here's the situation:- 1. Based on the internet Pics, the White dial sings to me. Its like a Ceramic Daytona replacement for this crazy period. I am able to get it new from a grey dealer at $21.4k 2. Blue dial for AP is always the signature color. Likely to be more sought after in the future? From the AD its about $26k where I am. Which should I choose? Go for the iconic color by paying the AD an additional premium of $4.6k? Or stick with the white dial? Anyone who has seen both in the flesh, really appreciate your feedback on the color choice. Cheers. |

I am biased since I own the blue, but really to my eyes the blue is much more beautiful. However, this is subjective and you should always buy what you like

The blue isn’t bad but doesn’t really sing to me compared to the white/silver panda... not sure if it because the silver sub dials on the blue. Besides the historic nature, I don’t get why everyone wants blue on all RO or ROC. Yes, it does looks nice on many APs, but everyone seems to default to the blue... blue is AP color and more expensive therefore must be blue...
For me hands down the white/silver. They’ve done an amazing job on that dial. Perfect contrast. You can go wrong either way! |

Blue would be my choice. I've tried blue, white, and the black dials. The blue really stood out.

I went with the white panda dial. It really stood out to me when I compared it with the other dial colors. Yes, the blue dial is very nice and iconic, but I think the white dial is exceptionally well-done. The white/silver tappiserie dial has a mesmerizing complexity that can only be appreciated in the metal. Also, the subtle black ring on the outer edge of the dial matches the black subdials very well.

I would go with a blue dial. But maybe that's just me because I love the white dial 5711 and if I were to add a 5711 I would certainly buy a white dial one therefore it would make sense to buy a blue dial RO. But again, maybe that's just my personal case.

An Update.
I've compared the 3 dials side by side and I must say this. The blue dial is kind of dark, looks too similar to the black dial. I know its AP so the blue is kind of special. But the white dial just have that something more extra. Really love the effects that the black and white contract make. I've decided on the White hence. Will be wearing it until the price of the White Ceramic Daytona comes down to earth |

Blue for me but again I must say it’s just a matter of taste!
I see white and it’s very nice too! In the end it’s your choice because you wear it! |
