Have you owned them all from new springer?

What I find interesting is, I’d have assumed Watch no2 & no4 had been helped along due to the blotchy look to no2 and the fact the blue is more faded than the red on no4.

I guess most of the faded ones I see on instagram aren’t as often bleached as I thought if yours are all natural.

Have I owned them since new? No. As far as any being artificially bleached, I'd have to say you are very mistaken. GMTs fade in many various ways - which was the point of this thread. Some fade gradient, some don't, some fade in the blue, some fade in the red, some fade on both colors. It's not a science when trying to determine why one insert fades a particular way when compared to other inserts.

Below is another photo of #4.

Third pic from Springer is my favorite ; it really shows how differently the bezels have faded over the years. Impressive, very interesting also! It's like a very fine wine...

I didn’t say they were, I was reacting to you saying they’re naturally faded saying I’d have assumed a couple weren’t natural. So more pointing out I would be assuming wrongly (if that makes sense)

Was more thinking about similar ones I’ve seen on Instagram & people commenting they must be bleached. That’s why I asked if you knew for sure (ie owned them from new) as it would change my opinion on others I’ve seen.

Cool thread JP. Inspired me to dig one out that came from you! Blast from the past! Got a strawberry/fuschia'ish vibe to it.
