Forstner 1450 bracelet on Alaska Project Speedy

I've been wearing the watch on mostly a NATO or rubber strap but would like to use a bracelet so borrowed this Forstner bracelet to try on my Alaska project Speedy as I find the OG bracelet flares out too much and doesn't sit nicely on my wrist.

I'm trying to decide whether to go for this 1450 or the other one that looks more like the OG bracelet. I need some opinions please on which style of bracelet suits it better.

Forstner makes some great bracelets and I wear several on my Speedmasters. When you take into account quality and fit they are at times nicer than some of the OEM bracelets I have owned. Go for it, most of the bracelets are around $185.

You might want to consider Uncle Seiko bracelets. The US1479 is a copy of the current bracelet on the new Speedy's. You can get them in brushed or polished center links just like the original. I have purchased them (not for your particular watch) and they are a perfect fit to the watch head, even better than the Forstner. They taper to 16mm at the clasp and you can get a milled clasp than is similar to the one that is on the newest Speedy.
