Comedian, Chris D’Elia - SubC

Watching Chris D’Elia’s Netflix standup special “No Pain”. Very funny.

He was rocking what appeared to be a Submariner 114060. After a little internet search, turns out my eyes weren’t deceiving me:

Great choice. It's a no-nonsense watch so it's perfect in any situation.

He was wearing it on Joe Rogan’s podcast posted a couple days ago (also hilarious). Perhaps his daily wear.

Initially I was surprised to see Seinfeld wearing a Breitling Aerospace, because he has some interesting watches such as 6239 with racing provenance, previously owned by Vic Elford. Then I remembered hearing that stand up comedians love Breitling Aerospace since it has digital displays and allows you to know the time by quickly glancing at the watch. That means that you can know the time without anybody noticing you glanced at the time which would be a big no no during the stand up.

Seinfeld has always been a Breitling guy. Even in the show he was always wearing one.

He does almost always wear a Breitling, but I assume we can agree the Aerospace is not the most interesting Breitling. It does have a nice perk of having a digital display though.

Speaking of comedians in the podcast circuit wearing Rolex, I believe I caught Tom Segura wearing a 126710BLRO on his podcast (your moms house) and his wife Christina P wearing a datejust

So, for my birthday 4 months ago a friend sent me a greeting from Jamario Moon (who I remember fondly from his days as a Toronto Raptor) via Cameo (a website where you can book celebs, comedians and sports stars to send personalized video messages to your friends for a fee). I think Jamario charged $50. Brett Favre was like $400. Prices vary.

I noticed you could get a personalized greeting from Chris D'Elia for the bargain price of only $50,000. I am not sure why he held himself in such high regard... but something tells me he is in for a significant price drop!
