Makes perfect common sense, rather than trying to re-ignite the interest 6-8 months later, and with other products competing for the potential buyers’ attention.

I think it is a good move on GS's part not to have their customers waiting. Only a few brands can do it, e.g. Rolex. I have a GS, which I have purchased a few months ago.

Your gonna love the hi-beat, have had mine approx 3 years. Fun to watch it tick, so very smooth. Reminds me of my old Accutron without the hum. Mine settled in about 2 to 3 sec fast in 24 hrs.

I don't like that they're aren't enough micro adjustments on the clasp other than that it's an awesome watch.

Dial, markers, GS applied logo and that amazing case!

I already have a 126600 SD, Tudor Pepsi and Seiko SLA025 on this year's shopping list - otherwise I would have moved on it.

My favorite SIHH 2018 release from Seiko, congrats! I also agree that GS bracelets tend to leave a bit to be desired when compared to the oyster bracelet.
