This is almost as bad as the Seiko “Batman Turtle” posted on Recon. It’s got two childish nicknames.

I’m still waiting to see what everyone calls the SD43 when they swap the font to white. Original should have been SD50

Well we have probably 10 years to think about it. Cos that red line ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. For those around these forums who think they bought themselves into a 2-3 year run dial, it’s a pipe dream.

SD43 will have 5-7 year run. Something similar to 16610lv run. IMHO

Knight Rider Pics (aka SD50, aka SD43)
Quote:
im still boycotting knight rider... its the Hasselhoff, im making that stick and from this day forward i will refer to it as such as long as this nickname trend continues Anyone else tired of the nicknames feel free to jump on the bandwagon as its the perfect anti-nickname, nickname. it works for whatever the dial text color is.

The red isn't just for Knight Rider: Baywatch, too. Plus, Baywatch is more in-line with the SD50's beach theme.
So, instead of "Knight Rider", how about calling the watch "the Hoff"? ;-) |

Welp, now I need a Knight Rider. Actually, why not call it the KITT?

On second thought calling it "the Hasselhoff" might discourage all the nickname / investment posts.
