I vote we call it a Sea Dweller or SD43.
We all know what that identifies

A while ago someone had suggested black widow. While I hate that name, from a resemblance point of view, it was pretty much on target.

SD43 is probably the best nickname it can have.

I will never understand the obsession with giving comic book names, or any other nickname, to watches. It cheapens the brand IMO.

No...

I think we all see superheroes mentioned enough on the forums.

This is coming from a guy who's read comics for more than 30 years.

My guess is it'll probably migrate from SD43 to SD50 once the next iteration is launched. I have no issues with SD43 but the reference to the Ann'y may be the only way to differentiate at,that point.

Of course since it's the smallest SD currently produced maybe it should be LittleSD

The "Strawberry Shortcake"

Because if there must be a lame, childish nickname go for the lamest and most childish that has some connection with the color red that everyone is ga ga over. There's a "Smurf" dive watch, so "Strawberry Shortcake" would naturally go well with it. 4 year olds will love it.

why not sd43 rhymes.

vader would be more appropriate for the 116500 black dial.

if you ask me this should be called the superlative chronometer deep but not too deep red but not too red touch of red dweller.

Hey! I have an idea, let's all just go down the pub, and solemnly promise not to mention this nonsense, ever, again!
It's my round, what are you all having?
