If you want to "verify" that it's a new watch by seeing it in all its sticker-covered glory, that shouldn't be a problem. Dealers aren't removing them prior to sale; they're removing them at time of sale in order to deter grey dealers from buying to sell as "brand new" (with the intact stickers to prove it).

Personally, I like the stickers on mine. It was my first Rolex and I didn't want it getting scratched up!
