What year is it? Does it have the rehaut engraving? Check the weight.

I don't doubt that it is real... This is at a jewelry store. I'm just wondering if this is a compete active price considering that I know very little about women's rolexes...

Looks pretty new... They said that they guarantee that the watch is authentic... They have stores in NYC as well as Miami? I just want to make sure it is a great deal (which is what it looks like to me)

It's a decent price.

Not sure what you mean about "papers".. Aren't they going to give you a receipt ??

I gave you an opinion. Does this model have a rehaut engraving? If so, does it exist? How does the weight feel?

There is no rehaut engraving around the face of the watch... but I didnt think that womens watches had rehaut engravings? I could completely wrong? The weight does feel approx correct.

it also has the older clasp design... SO i guess that makes it a little older? So, that might explain why there arent any rehaut engravings?

I need to know by either friday... Bc im going to leave the area...

.

It should be a Lady DJ model 78240

This model was stopped in 2005 , so it can not have engraved rehaut.

You need to know the approximative year of this Watch, query the s/n to determine it (s/n is between lugs at 6h).

Mid size DJ are over $5000 brand new as of todays market. The $3800 is probably what the store was originally selling it for. You can always send off an email to one of the trusted sellers here to get an idea of what their pricing might be for a new one. Or, they might have a used one in possession to sell.

The watch looks good. Apart from no rehault and minor issues like that, would your mother know about that? Probably not. It looks like its in good shape. Tell the store as part of your deal that you want to ensure you have time to return it because you have to authenticate the watch at a Rolex store. ;-) Then tell them you want to go down a bit, say to Mons magical price of $2165.75 INCLUDING tax. LMAO ..but see if they will go lower for you.

Take a breat....b r e a t h e . They are holding it for you.

Great gift for mom. :-)

Other factor to consider is whether it's been serviced recently or not. As someone pointed out, newest it could be is 2005 production. A Rolex service can cost $500 or so.

Where are you getting the price of $2,165.75? Also, my mom really wants a watch with diamonds (I know, head is hanging in shame) How hard is it to install the dial vignettes? And where can I get quality ones? (I know stupid questions, but I have a GV Milgauss so... there is no need to change out the dials)

Thanks,
Atom...
