So after much research on this forum and meeting with local AD’s I am close to making a decision on my first Rolex. The blue really appeals to me and I love the look of the sub, therefore I believe I am close to purchasing 116613LB. This watch fits nicely on my wrist and is a beautiful design. The only downside I can think of is that I am not much of a diver, (only been twice) therefore the dive functionality most likely won’t be fully utilized. That being said I think this watch looks great with a suit or on the golf course. I am slightly concerned with the Blue and the durability, of course it this is a much of a factor of the care provided by the wearer, but being a first time owner and this being no small cost, I am anxious.
I did enjoy the post a few weeks back the numerous mistakes watch buyers make, and noted that the best advice was research research research! I have not had luck with negotiating an improved price, but I thoroughly enjoy working with my AD and believe that I am being treated fairly. Before a person takes the plunge is there any last min advice? Thanks again for all the help! |
