Luxury items that stand the test of time?
What luxury items have you purchased that, like your Rolex, has stood the test of time?

My wife's LV 55 carry-all, Mont Blanc Meisterstuck fp, Dunhill lighter. I guess pics would help, but only the Rolex is with me in the office...

My Montblanc pen, and my CK briefcase have been with me most days for the last 14 years. Both are in really good shape!

Me too, but I consider those necessities, not luxury items...

I do buy some pricey beers but they never seem to last too long.

I love Italian Loafers. I have almost every colour of Ferragamo's, Tod's and Some Prada. I don't skimp on good shoes. Loafers stand the test of time. I've bought my wife LV handbags in most of the popular canvas colours. I like Montblanc pens of which I have a few. All of these stand the test of time.

Don't think I have bought any luxury items other than watches. I have boots like redwings that are still in use after more than 10 years but I don't think its a luxury item.
I have bought diamond ring that I have gotten rid of but I'm sure its still somewhere in the world but just not with me. On that topic my lesson learned from it is that diamonds are much harder to on sell than watches and its value takes a great hit if you manage to sell it! |

Not sure everyone would consider them "luxuries," but...Maui Jim sunglasses (almost 9 years now), Coach leather totes and Dooney & Bourke leather wallet (20+ years!). Oh, & the Herman Miller Aeron home office chair - 15 years and still going strong!

Very funny you should say but very true. One of the best looking Roadsters ever made - soon to be a classic!
