Stuck Seconds Hand on rolex 5513

Hi all, I’ve recently acquired a rolex 5513 1967 from a reputable seller here on the forum. Watch came as advertised and looks fantastic, however, i think there may be some damage sustained from shipping.

The second hand doesnt move with the rest of the movement, when wound, the minute and hour hands do move and there is an audible ticking with the watch.

Attached is a video of me with the crown undone and ‘adjusting’ the time. I suspect it may be a misaligned hand from some impact during shipping?

Not good. I'm sure you and the seller can find a solution.

That's messed up. I'd ask for a return if it arrived like that.

Easy; back it goes to the seller for service/repair or refund, unless they will pay for you to have it serviced local since you’re in Asia.
Could be easy or could become headache.
Nice looking watch though…

Looks like the second hand is loose on the pinion?

Hopefully an easy fix but the less you wind it round the better?

Yea I hope, unfortunately its a non-hacking movement so no real way to stop it ticking I think

Exactly that a very simple fix.

I was referring to manually moving the hands with the crown.

As noted above, it's quite likely that the pinion needs to be tightened, but we can't really diagnose it over the internet. A watchmaker would need to do a bit of disassembly, so you should discuss it candidly with the seller and decide how to handle it.

I've seen that happen before and it can easily be remedied. As PADI noted, a very simple fix.
