So I walked in to buy a 312...

...but two ADs later I ended up with a 510. This is my first venture into the Paneristi and glad I finally popped my cherry :). Based on pictures I was certain I was buying a 312...after trying it on it fealt awkward. Wanting an auto I move on to the 104...but I could not get past the lack of sandwhich dial. The staff at Tourneau suggested I consider the 510 and after much debate this was the winner! Love it!

Watches are like that. They can look awesome (or bad) in pictures, but you never know until you try them on.

Congrats. You never know, I always thought Panerai was too large for me then I tried one on (47mm) now I'm hooked. Nice choice you made.

Well done sir on the 510. I tried 312 myself and found that 44mm luminor case to be much more comfortable.

And you can't beat having the screw lugs and manual wind movement. Some people hate them, but I love them. :)
